Liza & Pete | Swiss Mountain Elopement

Liza & Pete traveled all the way from Utah in the United States to exchange their vows in the Swiss mountains, far away from the hustle and bustle, with just a few cows (and me) as witnesses. It had been planned for a long time, and I was so glad when everything worked out and the weather played along perfectly. We took the cable car up to the Niederbauen and simply started hiking, looking for a beautiful spot. We found many of them along the way and they shared stories about their everyday lives as a jewellery designer and a sailor. Or, as he put it, an “overglorified mechanic.” As it is typical for people from the states, they had an fascinating fascination with the cows, and never got tired of telling me how much they loved them! It’s always wonderful to get to know people in this way and to be able to be part of such an important moment for them. Thank you, Liza & Pete!
