Free wedding ceremony at Restaurant Schöngrün | Wedding photographer Bern

What a beautiful location! The Restaurant Schöngrün in Bern is very central, easily accessible from Bern’s main station, and yet, as the name suggests, a lovely, green oasis. So, on a Saturday in October, I took a relaxed train ride to Bern and had the privilege of accompanying Patrick and Fabienne’s wedding. Fortunately, we had plenty of time for the “Getting Ready” in this beautifully designed villa, resulting in some photos that I am particularly fond of.

During a free ceremony, which could take place outdoors despite the autumn weather, Fabienne and Patrick exchanged their vows. A tear or two was shed! The weather held up, allowing the reception to be enjoyed outdoors, and as if on cue, the sun made a brief appearance, giving us the perfect opportunity for some stunning couple photos.

The celebration continued with dining and festivities in the beautifully decorated orangery – what a fantastic wedding! Thank you, Fabienne and Patrick!
